Summer Intervention Fund
Wednesday, 02 May 2012 10:59
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for youth, community and good relations programmes which help address the needs of young people living at or near interface areas in Belfast, who are affected by heightened tension over July and August 2012.
The scheme is being run by the Belfast City Council Good Relations Unit, on behalf of the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister.
Preference will be given to groups operating in areas of multiple deprivation and areas where official police and community safety statistics indicate high levels of potential disorder at key dates during the summer. Money allocated under the scheme will help support direct interaction and intervention activities with young people and encourage their involvement in developing and delivering these programmes.
The closing date for applications is 12pm on Friday 11 May and you can download the application form and guidance notes from the City Council website here.
