Free Health Event in Denmark Street

Denmark Street Community Centre will be hosting a free Community Health Event on Wednesday 21st March, with help from the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust and the Greater Shankill Partnership.

If you come along any time between 11AM-2PM you can avail of a whole host of free services including complimentary therapy taster sessions of; Indian head massage, reflexology & shoulder massage. If you want a freshen up, there's the opportunity to get a Turkish shave and visit the nail bar.

If you would like some health advice or just want to see how your body's working, there are free health M.O.T's which include a blood pressure check, cholesterol check and a blood sugar check. Staff are also on hand to give advice and support on diabetes, heart health, and cancer. If you've been thinking about giving up the cigarettes, or considering thinking about it, there's advice on stopping smoking and you can even get your carbon monoxide levels checked!

If all that wasn't enough to get you interested there's also lunch provided, so you've really little excuse not to pop in and chill out for an hour or two at Denmark St Community Centre on Wednesday 21st March at 11AM-2PM!
